Bloom Vision Planner

May 31, 2018

While some people have moved well into the digital age when it comes to their calendars, I am one of those people who will forever prefer a paper planner. It all started back in sixth grade, when I was handed my first ever planner by my homeroom teacher. In an effort to get kids to be more responsible with their assignments, my school (district?) made them mandatory for all students. It was love at first sight.

Alas, now there are about a million different planners you can choose from, which makes things a little bit trickier. It took me years to find my perfect planner, and I hope these reviews will help you find yours.

  • Single Coil Metal Binding

Bloom daily planners describe themselves as “committed to helping others bloom into the best versions of themselves through organization.” I. Love. That.

I also believe them.

One of my favorite parts of working with creative women has been discovering a whole world of planners out there, and bloom is one of the companies that I’m ecstatic to have found.

Founded (and still operated) by a team of dedicated girl bosses, bloom prides itself on being decidedly by women for women. And we all know how much I love that.

In addition, bloom has evolved over the years to include several products beyond the basic planners, including tools for weddings and teachers, as well as some of my favorite planner stickers out there. (Seriously, they’re so cute!)

Unlike a typical date book, “bloom’s Vision Planner is designed to help you make all of your dreams and visions for this year become a reality.” Considering how closely that aligns with my own mission of helping creative women achieve their goals, I was super excited to take this special planner for a spin.

In addition to the typical monthly and weekly calendar spreads, the bloom Vision Planner also includes several less standard pages.

A broad view of your goals is a great place to start before setting some actionable items to get you there. This page (and the Vision Board and Bucket List that accompany it) is where you dream. Every wild thing you’ve ever wanted to accomplish? Those things goes here.

THIS MONTH’S VISION/MAKING IT HAPPEN

At the start of each month, there is a page where you sort some of your goals by category (Relationships, Finances, etc., similar to my annual goal planning printable) and another where you can brainstorm actual steps to get you there, broken down into just a handful for each week of the upcoming month.

Room for Gratitude

One of my favorite things about the bloom Vision Planner is that it’s sprinkled with optimism. In addition to whatever goals you set for yourself, there is also one goal pre-printed in each monthly spread. Things like “write down something you love about yourself” and “spend a few minutes each day adding to a gratitude list” put an optimistic spin on every month.

The idea behind goal-setting is an important one to me: you are capable of much with just a little planning. The bloom Vision Planner has quickly become a great tool for organizing all those thoughts and plans and dreams in one place.

If you’re not quite ready to commit to a full year of vision planning, you’re in luck. In partnership with bloom, I am giving away a copy of the 2018 bloom Vision Planner. We are almost halfway through the year, but it’s not too late to get on track with your goals. Make the rest of this year a great one!

bloom Planner Stickers

All you have to do to enter is follow both me and bloom on Instagram, and like this post. That’s it! You can tag your friends in the comments for extra entries (one friend per comment please). And because I’m feeling extra generous, you’ll also receive a set of the stickers I love so much… as tempted as I was to keep them for myself!

Happy planning!
